    Emu!

    Shoulda seen that coming.

Well, you've reminded me of a song which one of your folk legends stole and Ozzified.

Let me see, the lyrics go somethign like this...

"Let me tell you of an interview/
    with an old man Ostrich.

He's got a beak and feathers and things/
but the poor old fella ain't got no wings."

Actually, I just discovered that the best way to apply aftershave is with an air sprayer using a 3mm atomizing tip with an 0.5 kPa g discharge pressure. For best results, be sure to hold the spray tip between the thumb and the second and third finger of your hand with the index and little finger extened normal to the axis of the spray. The tip should be positioned exactly 25mm from the skin surface with an angle of impact of 85 degrees. Move the spray across the face with a sweeping motion at a speed of 3-4 cm/sec.

I can see this definitely resulting in "non-standard" angles of application (NSAA, as we say in the trade), in the tricky area below the jaw line.

I must be prepared for untoward consequences of minute variation in aftershave saturation (MVAS).

Perhaps this can be compensated for by using the "slap my face" technique...in a counterclockwise pattern.

Wouldn't it be easier to just splash it on?

    ... ...

I'll just stick with my splash, rub, and pat routine.

I'm thinking both of you missed the sarcasm. My point was that too many people agonize of too many details instead of just doing what comes naturually.

I like to splash some on, followed by a smart smack.

The smack is to trick me into thinking a lady is present.
