Is Geo F Trumper Skin Food worth the money?
I have a sample of Coral and Lime GFT Skin Food. Do you guys think that it is worth it? It sure is nice, and quite expensive...

A little does go a LONG way, and I love the way it works, but not crazy about the two scents they offer. Rose is a bit too floral for my taste, and the limes isn't very "limey" if you know what I mean. Good product though. I bought a bottle of the lime, but who knows when I'll run out of my sample. ......Jeff

I had bought a bottle of the Coral Skin Food (Rose) probably 6 months ago and I still have plenty left. The large bottle will last you a year. I find its real soothing after shaving and its great as an all around moisturizer. I haven't tried the lime but personally don't find the rose scent to be all that bad. Its subtle not overpowering.

I agree the flowers don't last long, and that's good in my book. I love the affect it has on my skin though. Too bad they don't make a Spanish Leather skin food HEH Jeff

Damn straight it's worth the money
First off, buy it from the Gentleman's Shop
http://www.gentlemans-shop.com/
Far and away the best prices on most shaving creams, lotions, etc... 500ml bottle for $39.24; 200ml bottle for $23.70 (assuming a 1.74 to 1 conversion, USD to pound). Even with a $13 shipping fee, these prices beat any 'local' distributer. Beyond that, the product is fabulous. Very little required--a dime sized dollop is too much for one application; it is quickly absorbed, tightens/refreshes the skin, soothes, moisturizes, seems to prevent/eliminate razor burn, and the scent, although quickly vanishing, will cause your wife to jump your bones right there on the bathroom sink (YMMV).
Trumper's skin food and Truefitt and Hill's 'Classic' Balm are the only two 'post shave' products you really need (in my typically not so humble opinion)
