    Default Bay Rum

So I got the Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum from walgreens website, and I like it, but I don't want to just settle for one without trying anymore.

So my question is, what are some good Bay Rum brands that aren't going to make me go broke. I'm not trying to spend a fortune on a bottle of aftershave. I'm looking for somthing around 25 dollars at the most I would like to spend 30.

    Thanks everyone.

I only wish shipping to the UK was a bit more affordable.

You should try the Dominica Bay Rum. I think it is the quintessential bay rum. There are many others (maybe some you'll like more, or less), but the Dominica product is the most basic, pure bay rum of them all without any extra spice or fragrance to hide it's true bay ruminess (Pimenta Racemosa). Of all the bay rums I've tried, it is the one that smells the most of freshly crushed Caribbean bay rum tree leaves. And it's one of the least expensive.

do you have a SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY near you? they have another bay rum that is fairly cheap and i hear a lot of good reports on it.
i might also say to try all the pinaud/clubman aftershaves. i get some at amazon.com and also ebay...just DO NOT try the LILAC VEGETAL, i do not know what that stuff is supposed to be(if you soak a rag and hang it around your garden, the deer will most assuredly stay away)

Mmmm! Bayrum The Ogallala stuff is great (all of there blend I like) the Dominica Smells Great. To be honest just search in the Aftershave Lotions, Balms And Colognes section and you will find all you need to know. Bayrum is a very popular scent around here and there are several post on what people like. Good luck and enjoy whatever you get.

    Default Bay rum sampler

This is not a plug for any site, but I recently got a bay rum sampler pack from barclay crocker. I wanted to try some different brands and the price was right.

What scott says is dead on. Ive been using the stuff for around 15 years.

This is the importers website where you can buy it directly without having to go through a vendor:California-Antilles Trading: Bay Rum, Hot Sauces, & Salsas
They are only about 30 minutes from where I live

Yeah I love this stuff. The scent fades after a short time but it smells fresh and feels great going on. Gotta love that sting.
