Default Nivea Balm on the Cheap!

Hello fellow SRP members. The wife and I went on a date to the movies and we were going to be quite early, so on the way we stopped in at a Walgreens to get some candy to take in for less than $965436098534 / box. While there, I was looking at post shave balms as I am in need of some. A friend of mine who used a DE recommended that I try Nivea products.

As my luck would have it they were on sale at Walgreens any 2 products for $9. Not too bad, but you also got $4 off next purchase at Walgreens (barring beer and Rx's... damnit) So, by the end of it all it was $2.50 a piece for the Nivea products, I got one for sensitive skin and the extreme care or something, two different ones. After I checked out, got the $4 coup. that was printed with the receipt and handed it to the wife who used it get 4 boxes of $1 candy for the movies.

Granted, Nivea products are not that expensive to begin with (~$6 a piece), it's still nice to save a few bucks whenever possible.

So, for anyone who uses Nivea products or wants to try them hopefully since Walgreens is a national chain where ever you are you can take part in this deal. Not sure how long it will last for, though.

Best regards and great shaves all around,
    -amt

I will prob repost this in the 'post shave' forum as well

The Nivea stuff is good, I use the AS Balm from time to time and the pre shave face scrub...I'll put a squirt of T&H 1805 AS Balm in my palm with a squirt or two of Nivea. The Nivea has no fragrance, So the 1805 brings it, the 1805 is awesome and expensive...So, the Nivea helps stretch it...It'd work with any.....The Nivea does fine by itself too....

I got excited when I saw Beer and Rx....

I JUST RAN OUT OF THE PRORASO PRE/AFTER SHAVE THAT I'M USED TO USING. AS A RESULT I HAVE BEEN USING 2 DIFFERENT NIVIA BALM AFTER MY MORNING SCRAP, ONE IS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN, BOTH VERY CHEAP AND SURPISINGLY GOOD. LEAVES THE FACE VERY SOFT AND SMOOTH, MY LADY LOVE THAT PART!!!

HAVE A GREAT G/day AND MATCHING SHAVE!

I also like menthol stuff. What do you currently use, Jeff?
