I seem to be experiencing this same thing. After a WTG pass and then an ATG pass I still feel a slight bit of stubble on certain parts of my face. After my usual post-shave routine of alum block, Witch Hazel and finally a splash of Pinaud or Dominica Bay Rum, The bit of stubble is now undetectable.
If I hadn't experienced it myself, I would think someone be friggin' nuts telling the same story.

I just switched to include an application of Luck Tiger vanishing AS cream with menthol in my repertoire. It moisturizes like magic and my shave results seem better.

Victor,
I always include an alcohol based aftershave (I like Musgo Real AS or DR Harris Sandelwood) in my routine; if I don't my face really looks the worse for wear after about three days
So: my face definitely agrees with you
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ

One thing I've noticed for sure is that shaving soap/cream has an influence on the closeness of the shave. A good product will help me shave closer.

Applying the right aftershave is the culminating end of the process, just like dessert and coffee after a great dinner.

Thanked: 3I finish with both a splash and then a light slap of moisturizing balm of some kind.
