I love Royall Lyme! I use a pump sprayer on top & use it like a cologne. Bit too much EtOH to use straight as an A/S.

I use Mennen green tonic (I think that is sold as Skin bracer fresh lime in the USA) , Royall Lyme, and the Floris Limes Cologne.

The best lime scent is Royal, is as the fruit bitter, acid, spicy. It last only 1 hour maximum, that's the disadvantage.

Mennen GT is cheap but good aftershave

Floris Limes is an excelent and elegant lime based cologne, it lasts longer than Royall and the scent is fresh but more wearable.

I would say that DR Harris Arlington cologne has a strong citrus quality, but whether or not it could specifically be called "lime" is probably be open to debate. Good stuff either way.

The TOBS n.o 74 Victorian Lime looks appealing. Must add it to my list of colognes to try out!

Haven't come across Casswell-Massey No.6, and I'm not sure if it's sold around here (Montreal), but I've seen their Greenbriar aftershave at a local store. The scent description on their website sounds nice: artemisia (??), sage, thyme, lavender, grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, sandalwood, vetiver and amber

If I may suggest, try the Taylor of Old Bond Street No. 74 Victoria Lime. The fragrance is fresh and pleasing in its complexity.

Also, you might like No. 6 by Caswell-Massey. It's a little lighter, and very nice for mornings. Caswell-Massy says the No. 6 was designed for President George Washington — and that makes it extra special in my book.

I have used both for years, and will continue to do as my citrus aftershaves.

    Default Best lime cologne . . .

    Hello, Oolong:

You can get Caswell-Massey's No. 6 aftershave or cologne at caswellmassey.com. It's good stuff and a classic. By the way, it's a complex fragrance, not heavy on lime, and quite pleasing.

    Regards,
    Obie

Technically it would be ASAD: After-Shave Acquisition Disorder. Don't bother fighting...
