Thanked: 270I have not tried the bay rums you have used but have tried several others.
D.R. Harris is expensive (an expense I probably won't incur again) bay rum but is very nice.
Ogallala to me is just as good and costs about a third as much. My favorites from their offerings are Bay Rum and Sandalwood and Bay Rum. I also like their Bay Rum, Sage, and Cedar and Bay Rum, Limes, and Peppercorns. You can get a sample of all five of their bay rums for something like $15.
Pinaud Clubman is problematic to me because the smell of cloves is overpowering and once at work someone asked what that smell was in the room. That was kind of embarrassing.
If I were going to recommend one I'd say go with the Ogallala.

Thanked: 240I love ogallala bay I bought a sampler and two 14.5 oz bottles sandalwood and limes&peppercorns... My favorite though is the cederwood and sage I only wish they had that in the big bottle when I ordered because as things sit now I'll be 642 years old by the time I use up what I have and can order again.

Do get yourself some Speick. It's incredibly healing stuff, chock-full of goodies like witch hazel, potassium alum, lemon oil, lavender oil, menthol, camphor and of course, extract of the Speick plant for which it is named.
It has a subtle yet piquant scent that doesn't linger, so is great should you choose to wear an EdT.

My favorite is Ogallala. I tend to go through their largest bottle in a year, although now that I no longer work or go too many places it's lasting a tad longer
