Thanked: 101I splashed on some Clubman yesterday. Smelled it until I went to bed last night. The kids like it, the wife says I smell like an old man. That is ok, because I think old men are cool. I am slowly becoming one.....

I had a gal tell me that when she smelled the cubman on me that it was what she felt that a man should smell like. Way to go Clubman
it's nice to get a good feedback when you are using a less expensive aftershave. Sure beats spending $70.00 a bottle

Hmmmmm. Smell like 'David Beckham' or 'Pinaud Clubman'? Not much of a difficult choice.
'Old man' smell (as my wife calls it) all the way and forever the winner.

Most old fashioned barber shops use either the Pinaud Clubman, Bay Rum, or Osage Rub. I own all three

Clubman for sure...also takes me back to the old tim-ee barber shops when I'd go with my grand dad for a haricut...some things are worth keeping as is...

Thanked: 1185I guess I'm lucky, Clubman is one of SWMBO's favorites. My grandson is also a big fan. In fact, for some reason he's convinced that aftershave will burn his face (kinda funny considering his razor has no blade). He'll use nothing but plain witch hazel or Clubman. I only recently sold him on Clubman and after using it he'll run out to my wife and say, "Smell me, I smell like grandpa!"
The older I get, the better I was

Sounds quite familiar. I use Jovan Sex appeal, Wild Country, Old Spice, as well as Black Suede. My Fiance is saying the same thing. After I have treated myself to a shave, I get the comment while walking past the living room, "Hey Old Man". I don't mind it, just gives me an excuse to call her old lady. I can't wait to get some Witch Hazel! Any recommendations??

So, I just ran out and picked up a bottle of Clubman at Sally. Definitely a bargain at $6. I have to say that I agree with others in that it has a nice, manly scent. Did anyone mention that it smells like old school barbershop?
I hope the wife likes it, because I sure do!

I got a bottle at Walgreens the other day. 200th anniversary bottle that comes with 33% more. 8oz for $6.00!
