The real question is: Why even get involved with a chick that doesn't like the smell of Pinaud Clubman in the first place? Priorities man... priorities.

One piece of advice: You should call your girlfriend immediately, and tell her about this thread. If I know one thing about girlfriends, it's that the highest compliment that you can pay one, is to tell them that you confused them with your mother

I'm now worried about a bloke who has trouble differentiating between his GF and his Mum. I sure do hope they are totally different people...Physically...As apposed to a split personality or something weird like that...

Confused with your mother... Now I am confused.

I once dated a twin. Never get confused, never, never, never.

Another possibility is that it's not the scent, per se, but the amount. Many scents are amazing when used very sparingly, but cloying if too much is used. Less is more, especially if you find that your cologne or aftershave is announcing your arrival and lingering after your exit. Your scent really shouldnt be noticed beyond your armsreach, the idea being for it to draw her in closer so she can get a better sniff. For spray cocognes, I spray 1 spray into the air in front of me at about chest height, then quickly walk into it. For liquids, a bare drop to pulse points (wrists, behind earlobes, base of throat) and wherever there might be a nose later on. Clubman is one that I enjoy when used sparingly, but if applied with a heavy-hand, no.

Problem solved. Get rid of your mother. Or ignore her. You won't live with her forever.

    I hope...

From a guy who's just a few years ahead of you...always nod to mom. She brought you into this world, and she CAN take you out!

Girlfriends are great, but if you do things right only one will stick around; so keep her happy, but don't kill yourself for it.

Once that girlfriend becomes your wife (whether it's this one or one down the road), then you have to keep her happy!

Oh, and don't post on SRP while listening to your mom AND chatting/txting with your girlfriend.

    Peace!
