    Because the benzoin,....that's the 1st scent. I have bought twice the MdC benzoin body soap and it's the same scent. The mineral notes of the MdC SS are from benzoin, not french lavender. french lavender is a very herbal and spicy scent, but not mineral.

    Anyway the MdC scent is complex, as a wine, I prefer to enjoy it than to describe it, my advice is to do the same

    It's interesting how we all see (smell) things differently. For me MdC is quite raw, simple and natural.
