Hey, it wouldn't be the first scent to have this smell.
A lot of aftershave manufactuers offer samples of their products. I know Clubman does (though you've stated this is not one you'll be using). There's St. John's Bay Rum that offers a sampler for little money. Captain's Choice Bay Rum.
4711 is a nice fragrance, very barbershop, at least to me. The problem with suggesting is you list your likes which kind of possess the same sort of barbershop vibe. However, you want 5 different scents.
Really, it's almost best for you to look at some shave of the day posts and start choosing things you want to try. That's what I've done in the past. Try something I'm not familar with, if nothing else to soothe my curiosity. The other issue is how much do you want to spend on this? You can get large bottles of Osage Rub for about $6. Well, you know what Alt Innbruck runs.http://ashevillewetshavers.weebly.com/ April 26-27th come to one of the greatest meet ups of wet shavers!

Truefitt and Hill has a sampler there are some scents I am sure you wouldn't like I.E. Spanish leather or Clubman but the 1805 or West Indies Lime or Trafalger you might like. If you are ever near Akron Oh stop by Imperial Shave in Medina. They got open bottles that you can smell. I spent over an hour in the doing just that one day.

Thanked: 485I was going to recommend Clubman until I saw you don't like it. I find Floïd and Clubman to be a little similar...
