Thanked: 3Yeah, I'd definitely prefer the heft, sound, and feel of glass over plastic any day...oh well, looks like I've missed the days of glass AV bottles and I'm not interested enough to spend ~$10+ $5 shipping for a glass bottle of AV on Ebay. Now my plastic Clubman Pinaud bottle won't be lonely at least

I had the same issue with AQV smaller bottle. I took a cap from a plastic bottle of Afta with the lid on a hinge and a small hole. Works super on the AQV plastic bottle with only a flip to open/close.

Thanked: 0I am keeping an eye out for some old bottles for aqua Belva and old spice to refill from the new plastic ones. The new bottles just aren't that good.

Thanked: 220Aqua Velva has been in plastic bottles for quite some time now. Just like everything else that's being manufactured these days, the quality has gone downhill. I guess the companies are trying to bring the production costs down.
You could try doing the same thing as I do with my witch hazel. I put it in a spray bottle & spray it onto my hand or even directly onto my neck. At least you could control the amount by the number of pumps on the sprayer. Just a thought.
(P.S. If you think the AV has a big hole, try the Dominica Bay Rum. It resembles a pop bottle!)Last edited by Firefighter2; 07-05-2012 at 03:38 AM.
