You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Today another decant. Roja Dove Enigma. Pinaud is hard to find here and isn't cheap when found online so have yet to try. Maybe one day

Out to dinner with the family tonight. Is a rainy windy night so perfect for trying my decant of Masion Margrelia By The Fireplace.

OK, it's been several hours since I sprayed this "bad boy" (and yeah, it might be that I oversprayed a wee bit; but once I noticed, I splashed some H2O on my face/neck, to perhaps mitigate the sin). So, what're my thoughts?

First of all, Al Wisam Day is a "keeper". It'll be my next full-bottle purchase (and by that I mean 100ml/3.4oz, nothing halfway).

As for the aroma, the Basenotes graphic of top/heart/base notes -- while spot-on -- doesn't tell the whole story... neither do the accompanying reviews. Most notable is something I mentioned in a previous post, regarding the transition from Geranium to Rose: It took a long time to happen. Usually, it's fairly quick... on the order of 10-20 minutes -- 30 minutes, max; but that "sharp" Geranium aroma was going strong way past the one-hour mark, and it wasn't until about one-and-a-half hours when, alluvasudden, I discovered that it had been replaced by a softer, somewhat dusty, Rose. Wow. Not entirely replaced, but yeah, the dominant aroma became Rose. The other components are there -- more, or less, depending on one's skin "chemistry" and nose -- but theirs are "supporting" roles, and I don't find them conflicting.

I have been looking at this for a while so guess I will have to get a decent and try. I have found some of these arab frags cheaper on eBay buying from sellers in UAE

The prices are often better, but shipping to the US can be half as much, again (or more!)

See my lengthier reply, in a separate thread.
