I'm not giving up on perfecting my Shavette form and function.
Proraso all the way tonight, after a long day of festivities. FIRST pass with a Shavette with a Derby blade. SECOND pass with my DE Merkur to clean up what I missed with the Shavette. One step at a time. I'm fine with a Straight Razor having used that for decades, but a Shavette (to me) requires a special touch. And I think I am finding that my beloved Voskhod blades that I love so dearly in my DE do NOT work for me in the Shavette. Derby are much more forgiving.
And since the Proraso Green Aftershave has a "Limeish" scent to me, I always follow with;
Old Spice Lime - Just to kick it up a notch.
Early bedtime for me gents. Long day and busy day tomorrow. Happy 4th.

Thanks for reminding us of Wimbledon. I used to be into Tennis big time and even played in a league for a few years.

...ok so I just got my first bottle of Bay Rum... I feel like I'm floating in a glass of Captain Morgan... which is not necessarily a bad thing! arr... friend or foe? I think I'll stand around like this for a bit and see where it goes...
