Went with Invisible Monster from I Hate Perfume. Interesting aroma, I'd describe it as a floral but not flowery smell. More like a greenery, herby type. There are some undertones that I can't quite hit on yet. I'll be wearing it again to try and nail them down. Since many colognes have different aromas on different people it may not smell the same on you

Yes, for sure on the musty old pages and leather, but not in a bad way.
As to the Patchouli, no I really didn't. But a lot of colognes don't smell the same on me. It's hard to find ones that my chemical make-up doesn't mask some aromas, and not let the full smell of the cologne come through.
That's one reason I need to wear them a few times to see if they are for meLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Yesterday was Acqua Di Gio
Today, it's back to Pinaud Citrus Musk. I really am liking this for the summer. My shave this morning was with Stirling Grapefruit and Menthol Soap with their matching aftershave. The Citrus Musk works well to finish this off. Details and pic in "Shave of the Day"."I get some lather and lather-up, then I get my razor and shave! Zip Zop, see that? My face Is ripped to shreads!"

I'm going with this tomorrow, Doc. Love that fragrance - especially by the master Parisian house, Guerlain. I tried C.O. Bigolow's Critus and Vetiver Cologne last month. Two of my favorite scents. I was so excited to try it, but it is NOT for my body chemistry and nose. I am going to give it away by post here on SRP to a Noob. I'll even pay for shipping. It's a full bottle. I can't wear it. Darn shame. But hopefully it will find a new home.
I'm traveling on the mainland next week so can take it with me and ship to continental US from there.

I have not worn Brut since I was a late teen. I have to pick up a bottle. That and English Leather. I think I've got a handle on all the other classic drug store fragrances from the 50s-70s. I realize "Dominant" is no longer produced, but classic green bottle will hopefully bring back some memories of my High School daze.
