    Default Great Fragrances

We had a thread a while back on what cologne's the movie stars were wearing and there were so many great responses that I thought we should kick up the cologne or even after shave theme again.

After the last thread, which cost me some money by the way, I pick up both the Guerlain Vetiver and Habit Rouge and have to say that I have never had more compliments like I have received on both of these in a long time.

So, anyone tried anything really great lately? What's new out there? What's old out there? Pics? Reviews? I better zip up my pockets now.........

    Have fun.

D & G the one, starts with very light floral and citrus, mellows to tobacco and tonka bean. It's my favorite scent as of late, works great on winter nights. If you like a little powder with a modern scent the Armani code is nice, but too strong for summer. Bvulgari Man is a lighter citrusy scent that's good for hot summer days that stays a while but won't knock your nose off when you sweat. Last but not least Nautica Discovery very light oceany/citrusy, kinda hard to describe but it's pretty nice....Damn I'm gonna be broke after this thread, thanks Lynn!

I think the information is sourced from various places, including magazines, interviews and gossip sites.

As for what's new out there, well I've been going a bit crazy with my fragrances lately. I'm just going to mention my most used in 2012 to date:

    Creed Aventus
    Creed Millesime Imperial
Acqua di Parma Essenza di Colonia

They've never let me down and always brightened up my day!

I agree! Out of all the different aftershaves I have the most commented on by women is good old Clubman!

I have several AS's that I like very much. DR Harris Marlborough is one, Clubman, Old Spice and in the summer Aqua Velva. Nothing exotic really, but my wife likes these and to me none of them is over powering.

I am not a huge fan of cologne, but my favorite is AOS Sandalwood and similar to it is Kanon Norwegian Wood cologne.

That is what is floating my boat.

Out of curiosity, do any of you guys wear cologne on days that you don't shave?

    I personally do. Every day.

I should probably add to my own list here that Chanel Sycomore is another one that I've recently started wearing and added to my collection/wardrobe.
