Birnando, what a fantastic addition to the thread. When I started it, I never imagined it would take off the way it has - but that's all down to Bruno of course.

    Birnando,
That's a very nice historical piece of metal made into a gorgeous razor!!! To me, it is priceless. I would be very proud to own such a piece! There must be some history behind the sword it was made from. And of course you used all the right stones to hone it with which makes it even a more interesting razor. I can't find enough words to describe how I feel about such a piece of history that was converted into another very sharp tool to use on your face. They go back as early as 1185 & being 17th century steel it isn't silly to treat it the way you have. I would have the utmost respect for such an incredible piece of historical value. I can't wait to hear your story about it & the shave you got from it! That my friend is a very special treat for year to come. You are very lucky to have a friend like Bruno. He is truly an artist at what he does!

Please tell the lucky owner to own up so we can congratulate him on his new acquisition.
