    My first razor was a Boker model 1101, but my first shave ready razor is a Genco Old Dutch. It is also the first razor I restored and honed. Both are still in my rotation.

    That was my first. I wish I wouldn't buy this one because it cost me too much now..

    The Wade & Butcher is a near wedge and has some hone wear but it honed nicely and shaves beautifully and smooth!

    When we first start out, some pay more than they should have but now you know more. The main thing is that you love it & it is sentimental because it was your first. I can't remember what I paid for my W&B which was my first one...............I think it was around $65 but it's a beauty & a great shaver!!!
