My first razor was a Boker model 1101, but my first shave ready razor is a Genco Old Dutch. It is also the first razor I restored and honed. Both are still in my rotation.

That was my first. I wish I wouldn't buy this one because it cost me too much now..

One of two I picked up the same day was this John Primble I picked up for $20.
Also this Wade & Butcher about 7/8 for $27.
The Wade & Butcher is a near wedge and has some hone wear but it honed nicely and shaves beautifully and smooth!

This is her. My pretty little torrey. She's the one i mentioned in my introduction. All cleaned up with teak scales i made for her.

When we first start out, some pay more than they should have but now you know more. The main thing is that you love it & it is sentimental because it was your first. I can't remember what I paid for my W&B which was my first one...............I think it was around $65 but it's a beauty & a great shaver!!!
