Lemy, how do you like the shorter blade length in a PRC razor? I have often wondered since they use the wider bar stock. Post a picture of that little beauty!

Hi, I have been shaving for only a few months with a 5/8 full hollow and found it a bit light for my liking. Thus, would like hear from people that had tried PRC Sprite razor on whether the sprite razor feels heavier than a standard length 5/8 full hollow razor despite it being a shorty. I am interested in getting the sprite shorty razor since I felt that the shorter blade length will be easier for me to handle. Thank you

I have the Hart Shorty which is very similar to the PRC Sprite and it handles like a 5/8 full hollow but has just a little more mass. Fun to shave with. Need to be careful on the strop though as it takes a little more concentration just like a short blade Kamisori.

What IS the 'squeegee' effect exactly??

Enjoy it when it arrives!
Hey Denvernoob, if you have just honed your Leviathan for the first time in over 12 months, what exactly have you been using to keep the edge keen, pasted strop?

Usually from wedge profiles you get that feeling when shaving as if the blade is stuck to your face like a vacuum effect. It is slight but at times I can sense it.

Some of the first images I have seen of the wool sheaths PRC supply their razors with, I know these are available elsewhere but I have never thought to buy one. I quite like the simplicity of these but how good are they for storage?

I mainly like leather sheaths like those from SRD here! That said......I have a small 3/8 blade in one of my included PRC wool type sheath at present until I pick up another leather sheath. Holding fine and they do ok. I think they state the sheaths they include are treated. I would have no qualm using them if it weren't for the fact I love leather!!!!
