My Koraat of 6 mos. Made my own scales from stabilized buckeye burl lined with walnut with brass dome washers and nickel silver pins. Great shaver. Ulrik did a great job as he always does. Austin

Another SRP member Macrob in Ireland gave me the idea on the scales. The blade size is 8/8 quarter hollow I believe. Here is another post with better photos http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...ml#post1597449 .

You are lucky, today it was announced that he doesn't take orders any more until he is done with the waiting list. Lucky me, I ordered my model 14 before it was even known that it was going to be available, amazing shaver!

I got my Koraat razor a few days ago. A flawless piece of art that gave me a 2 pass bbs. Just became my new favorite. Tried to take some pics but my photography didn't do the razor justice, so I'm posting (with permission) Ulrik's pics

The razor I just presented was designed with the configurator. It is also slightly shorter and with a slightly more pronounced smile than usual by request. It was lots of fun to go through all the design elements and try to imagine how it would come out.
I also decided to limit myself to a specific budget, so I had to keep checking the bottom line to make sure I'm not running wild with all the cool options there
