Thanked: 24Well, my Koraat 8/8 full hollow spike point arrived and I was so impressed with the grind I decided to use some of my pre ban ivory stash for the scales. When I say ,"I decided to use it," I mean I put it in a box with the blade and ship it off to Alfredo, lol. Alfredo did a fantastic job, judging from his pictures...the razor is still in transit home to me....but I am excited and wanted to share asap. The wedge is black horn.
Cheers,
Brian

I have two Koraat razors. I was so impressed with the quality of the first, that I had to order a second. Both are near wedge. I'll probably order a full hollow from him in the near future.

Thanked: 24Had to order another full hollow, Koraat number 3 for me. This one is also 8/8 and I plan on having custom ivory scales made by Alfredo again.

Thanked: 24Thank you Richard, Alfredo gets all the credit for the scales, I simply boxed up the blade and ivory ....then mailed it! lol. BTW you are partly to blame for my Koraat habit! Your awesome spike point Koraat in damascus is fantastic. I saw that one and had to have one of Ulrik's spike points, I just didnt have the extra fun money at the time to get a damascus blade...maybe in the future.
Cheers,
Brian

Thanked: 272Hi Mihai,
that "giant bevel" is not a bevel. This is just a bellied grind. The razors bevel (the fine light line near the point) can be seen on the second photo of post #25.
best regards,
Ulrik

Thanked: 14I want to join the club too! Here are my two razors made by Ulrik. One is a 7/8 1/4 hollow and the other a 7/8 1/2 hollow(splash finish).
