Thanked: 2Bellied full hollows from Ulrik look just wonderful. Do they produce that specific singing sound while cutting a hair?

Thanked: 0Do you guys use the thick clear duct tape that Ulrick uses when you're "touching up" your edges?

Thanked: 250My 8/8 French point came this week from SRD. After wiping the blade with alcohol, I gave it 25 laps on the SRD premium fabric, 25 laps on lead treated fire hose, 50 laps on SRD Premium 1 leather, and 50 laps on the Illinois 6454 leather. Talk about a wonderful shave. I rate this razor up there with my big Sheffields. Excellent work Ulrik. I notice that hasstar has one for sale in the BST forum.

Thanked: 2I am new to straight razor shaving and feel lucky I bumped into reviews of Koraat razors. I echo all comments regarding the pleasure it has been working with Ulrik. My first Koraat (it will probably not be the last) was just finished and will be shipped next week. I cannot wait (6/8 near wedge, cocobolo scales)
