    It's 6/8 and I bought it because of the spine work actually.
    Not sure on the date to be honest. I bought it from Shave Nation and it was listed as new.

    Is the tang stamped or etched? Mine is from the 70s, and I bought it from the original owners widow. He had 2 of them, that he used once, and put in the sock drawer because he didnt like the shave. I,m not sure when they went from stamping to etching, but I'm betting there is a know-er of FrogLore that can assist in the dating around here somewhere.
