Here's another US market Wade & Butcher - wearing a near perfect etch! Enjoy

Man! That is neat! Wullie taught me a #2 pencil will clean up that corner considerably. I hope you can save the scales and old iron collars if you restore it. I have one with the same design, but etched in instead of frosted. It is hard to see, yet you can feel it with fingernail. I intend to try a vinegar application and lightly buffing the top of the etch to bring it out.

No resto needed really - the bug bites haven't compromised the strength of the scales and the pins + the horn around them are strong and solid. I think she will stay as is! (bar a soak in neatsfoot)

Good to keep it as-is! They are only original once! I will try to get mine on here as soon as I can finish!

This is big 7/8 Wade & Butcher barbers notch near wedge chopper in super original condition with original scales that I just scored, I'm going to give this beauty a full on restore pictures will follow, I've been looking for one for the right price for quite sometime.

Well I've just finished the restoration on this Wade & Butcher, everything original including the scales which I'm pleased to say turned out better than I thought they would, haven't yet honed the razor, I have several other razors I must hone first so this can join the queue, I'm really excited about giving this razor a shave after all she's around 150 years old, OK on to the photo's hope you enjoy.

Jaime, outstanding work. I really like that you were able to keep the original scales. You got a keeper there for sure. Enjoy!

Sorry for the double posting, I couldn't edit my first post to add better photo's so I've added these, If the mods want to clean it up and delete the first post it would be appreciated.
