My Swedes, in various states of repair. Four Helje's: a 32 and three 31's. A Berg (third from top of the left) and a Bengall (top right). I'm not sure about the Bengall being a Swede, but it doesn't say "Sheffield" like my other Bengalls and it came with a lot of other Swedes and looks like them. I sold a couple of others last week. The 32 at upper left is the prize of my small collection. It's one of a 7-day set with genuine tortoise scales.
P.S. Bjorn, that Berg is a beauty!Last edited by gugi; 04-03-2012 at 07:25 AM. Reason: broken link

All beautifull.
Welcome and thanks for sharing your treasures.
It seems like there are many Bengals in Sweden, maybe they had a good marketing plan
My father sent me a Bengall 3/8 wedge that he had got in an auction box of knick-knacks.
What house, family, clan etc would the Bengalls normally go in?
I have a few more Swedes in the mail. Will post when they arrive.

Thanked: 1587There's a lot of Bengalls in Australia too. They're Sheffield steel - Cadman and Sons. So that would mean they belong in the British Brigade, or the Sheffield Society, or maybe the Cadman Clan, or perhaps even the Brotherhood of the Bountiful British Bengall!!

Mastermute.
Excelent choice of litterature concidering we are Swedes on an American forum
The bricks that he leans his razors against are a series of novel that are classic in Sweden. They are about a group of people that migrates to the US in the 19th century. That is the very short summary of them.
By the way, nice work with your signature. Bringing out the right colours
