Engine - I'm pretty sure that the top end Heljestrands were quite often scaled in Tortoiseshell. If you do a search on Mr.Magnuss you should find some pictures of a stunning matched pair.

You've got quite an excellent memory - it was seeing a Magnus MK in tortoise that sold me, many, many months, if not a year or so ago - to try and search one out.

Now that is a razor. I have a smaller 4/8 and really wish it had a 6/8 blade as it is such a good shaver. Don't see many SSA razors never mind the 8/8 sized ones over here.
