The KT posted earlier in ebonite, swapped into vintage ivory from an Osgar that had a bad blade. Glad that ebonite and its smell are gone! Attachment 246403Name: IMG_1922.jpg

A few NOS Heljestrand just came in. From top MK 41 (11/16 near wedge), MK 42 (13/16 near wedge, natural material scales), MK 31 (5/8 hollow), No Number Faux Frameback (11/16 hollow). (sorry not much sun today)

Genuine tortoise shell 7 day set, NOS. Heljestrand B.K. 41
Unfortunately I don't own it. It is for sale. If you have 3 grand to burn it could be yours.

Recent purchase.A good 7/8 like a Mk33 without the stamp but with thumb notch and jigged bone which is not too common. The scales are thin as ivory and wondering if it came from the factory this way?The edge looks good with no pitting and hard to describe overall how beautifully sculpted this razor is.A thing of beauty to me.

Heljestrand 130, 13/16+, about 3/4 hollow, no thumb or nail notch and plastic scales.

    'South American model' (1957 catalogue, p. 13).

As far as I can see, it's more or less the old/classic design but with a much longer cutting edge (like the long-bladed Royal Kindal/Le Prince/Le Duc).

I have an identical second one but it's stamped '13' (go figure, same grind) and 'E. Montignac Buenos Aires.'

This one arrived today, a beautiful Mk.32 in Ivory, unlike my other Mk.32 in Tortoise scales, this one appears a different grind and is bigger, I'd say 6/8....has some light pitting on the blade face, but that will be carefully removed when I hand it off to Val at The Gentleman's Den for some TLC.

This Mk.32 will look great beside my Mk.33 also in Ivory.

Put the Ivory and the Tortoise MK32's in a fitted case for a "Salt & Pepper" look!
