Hi Scotsman,
As far as I could find out, it depends on the period you are asking for...
Before 1926 PAUL KOHL, a brother or cousin of CUNO KOHL, had the rights to use the pictural trademark of the MAN HOLDING A FISH.
After 1926 this trademark was registered together with the word trademarks FISCHERWERK and THE FISHER for the brothers H.&W. DIRLAM of Solingen later firming as DIRLAM'S GmbH & Co. KG.
Their rights are valid until 31st of May 2015 although they are not longer in the producing business of straight razors (only scissors are made today).
The WITTE trading company in Solingen is using their TM today together with the TM of DANIEL PERES.
After this date YOU may purchase this trademark from the patent lawyers CHRISTOPHERSEN & PARTNER, Duesseldorf and offer your own THE FISHER razors... ;-))
Greetings from Solingen

Thanked: 101Steve I would go back to 8K if you have it then work up to the Coti. As a finish on the Coti try it under running water. A tip from Dr. Matt. Worked on a A. Taglianetti "Made in Germany"11/16 I just got at a Auction I went to.
