Thanked: 13Hi,
This razor was a British military issue. 930 is either a very early number or may have been the soldier's "last three" (still used in the army now to identify personal kit.) 5 L F refers to 5th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers. Probably First World War, but could be earlier, perhaps Boer War if the number was complete.
Regards, Tomo

Here's a very nice 7/8" Wm. Greaves and Sons (Sheaf Works) with double thumb notch that was recently restored for me. Original scales and all. (Shaves like a dream!)
Regards,
Chris

I think this one belongs here as It appears to be a true wedge.
I found it in a shop this morning. It's a Colley & Co Sheffield razor. I've done a little research on SRP that tells me it was made between 1833-1844. It looks like it will clean up nicely and I really like the shape of the blade.

Can we get a picture of the other side?
Is that a rivet in the strap? Or was it repined?
It is way cool either way thoughLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz
