Just bought this. Shipped today so I haven't shaved with it yet. Can't wait! Victorian-era Joseph Rodgers & Sons, 6/8" near wedge, barber's notch, unique grind with flats along the spine, restored and re-scaled in horn. Beyond stoked to shave with it!

I have a quiet small Spike wedge and an American issued C-MONS wedge that I converse with in subdued tones. Looking for more of these silent sams.

Haza, those are two beautiful razors! The J Rodgers in mother of pearl is absolutely incredible, finest razor I've seen lately (well, one of my favourites).

On top, my W&S Horrabin Red Hill Works wedge. An awesome shave from the mid-1800s. Original horn scales. Restored and honed by Shave Smith in Colorado.

In the middle, Wade & Butcher that says "Medium Hollow Grind" on the blade. They lie. There's nothing hollow about it. I swapped the scales from another razor after I broke the originals trying to unpin it. I did manage to get a shaving edge on this one.

Bottom, a "Fine Steel, Sheffield" wedge that I've been trying to hone for months. I'll get it right, eventually.

When shaving ATG with a wedge, I like to use a buffing stroke, with the blade flat against the skin. No irritation and incredibly close. I love my wedgies. Great thread!

    I have a few wedges - this is my favourite - it's a Nowill.

    Then there's a Gilbert Bros.

    Both are very comfortable shavers.

This is a Thomas Turner beefy wedge. It was a little beat up when I picked it up, but came out ok.
