Thread: The French Foreign Laceration

Hello Gentleman. My "ugly duckling" arrived today.... In fact, the reason I got it is that I absolutely love the shape of these french faux Framebacks. This is a Rameau. The reason I am calling it a duckling is the spacers seem a little odd on the razor (and it has some micro chipping of the edge due to either some water damage to the blade edge or poor handling of the razor, but is small enough to be honed out on next razor bevel setting).
The question I have: does anyone else have similar odd spacer at the end of their faux frameback? The result is that the blade only half enters the scales, and that the toe touches the end of the spacer!! you can see from the photos how the spacer is effectively cut at a diagonal angle
