Jacques, What kind of blade grind is that on your razor? Is it a Hamburg variation? It looks well engineered.

Well, now I have to go back home to take better pics of my Shumates. I'm specially proud of my Shumate made in Austin, Texas. Great to see that these great blades get the credit they deserve.

Hi. I don't know how to call it but it's the same grind as the Boker King Cutter. I think it's called "half grind".
Here's a pic for you to appreciate.
In the original post the lines you saw are reflection from something above.

Really nice razor Jacques13 and welcome to the SSS.... By the tang stamp I would guess that one to be one of the newer ones late 20's early 30's

Anyone know what are some good spots to try and pick up a good quality Shumate straight razor?
