And STILL no answer to WHY were Hallmarks brought up in a forum about STRAIGHT RAZORS? Thank You voidmonster, for coming to his aid. Being as he still hasn't answered my question, I know that truth and have my answer.😀

They were considered so in 1733. Somebody out there who can show me a picture of the page showing differently?? That's my challenge 😀
This, even for precious metal hallmarks, is wrong. See here for the actual marks.

I believe you can read your own quote above to answer that question, because I cannot tell you why you brought it up.

No. The marks were definitive of all cutlery. The developer of this site has already clarified that point in a post in 2011, that's what I posted.

Now that the logic has become completely circular, I suggest we start firing information into it to produce high-speed collisions. In the ensuing explosions, it might be possible to detect as-yet-undiscovered particles of... Well, something!

HAHAHAH 😄 I don't think it's the logic but the conversation which has become circular. Like, wher did I say hallmarks? Crown, Castle, Anchor are cutler marks indigenous to the place of registration. Hallmarks are familiar but there called city/ assay marks.

Do you have any sources to back up that assertion besides that one post here which I have already illustrated is incorrect?

WOW😕 If you're wiser than the developer of this forum maybe you should start your own forum so we don't have to be subjected to your insufferable brilliance. I'm HAPPY you chose me to try to display it! I feel bad for the other new people that you choose to puke you're opinion on. We might lose them because of people JUST LIKE YOU!
