    Here is my contribution. I have no idea what make. It is fully functionalble. Looks like ebony scales and the pins are tight. Let me know if anyone knows anything about this razor, age, make or origin.

    Very nice! Can you read the stamp? Maybe a picture of the tang with the stamp could help!

    Unfortunatly there are no marks on the tang. There is what appears to be a half cresent mark one side of tang but I can't tell if it is a marking or just a gash

    I think it's a french one of the late XVIII° century, and the scales must be made of dark horn.

    8/8 Greaves which im guessing is 1815? not sure so any help is appreciated! I have cleaned up the blad, but have not found new scale material yet. I am replacing the scales as the ones on it did not fit the blade and were pretty much toast. Name:  Greaves1.jpg

    UPDATE: Here is some info in my other stubby!! According to Standard Guide To Razors: 3rd Edition it is dated circa mid to lade 1700s!!! What do yall think?
