Thanked: 1081I forgot to mention your Giyana Jamie. I'd say so, there's a fair few japanese razors that could easily come from the same maker.

A beauty to be sure. I know it will bring much happiness Mark and I'm glad it is in a good home. Nonetheless, should the time come for it to reside in a warmer climate, do let me know. Good luck with that gorgeous razor
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

Here's my first submission to this thread -- Diamond Hayashi 8000 (in the uncommon clear / silver tinsel scales with purple tang and cherry red spacer). I just received it today, and the shave was excellent. (Although I still prefer the heavier quarter-hollow / wedge grinds.)
I'll snap a few better photos this weekend. Tonight, I have to prepare for the Cubs game.
Regards,
Chris

That is a very nice razor Chris. The 8000 is the top of the line in the Diamond series and can quickly spoil you with some great shaves. Enjoy.

Additionally, here are a few previously-NOS Japanese razors that I sold on eBay a few months ago -- Manaslu M500 (Yasuki Steel, White #2) and Nile #65. Superb shavers that I regret selling.

Chris
