Thanked: 8No, no, I didn't buy out of Japan, and your right. This thing needs to be put to skin. I think this will be one that I send out for a honing though. Like I said, I'm fairly new to all of this and just learning to hone razors. I've been sharpening knives on stone my whole life, but this seems to be quite different.

Thanked: 8Seems like it. Has a very solid, heavy blade. I like that. Being a newb, it seems easier to shave with the hefty blades.
