    A few new arrivals. First pic is a Suzumasa, probably newer production, no stamp on the tang or anything, other than the mark on the scales. I am still undecided on this one, but I received it as a gift, so really happy about that. It's a full hollow blade. Takes a good edge easily, but I am not sure whether it will retain it. After the first shave, I think it collapsed, with some micro chips appearing seemingly out of nowhere.

    The second one is an Atlas No 17 FBU.. absolutely stunning, took me a while to set the bevel, but once I was done, the edge was amazing and so was the shave. It's a quarter hollow, this one... or near wedge, I guess that's the same thing.

    My humble japanese collection now counts 3 straights [emoji4]
