Thanked: 20First and still favorite vintage razor. Purchased from a
barbers estate without scales thinking it was made
that way. When I discovered the pivot hole, it was
put in a discards box. I came here, decided I needed
a razor and discovered the scales (and rust) would
not be a problem.

Thanked: 158Here is my Torrey 4/8 wedge with Bolivian Rosewood scales. It was given to me by my grandfather and restored by Max. The pictures of it were also taken by Max (he is a WAAYY better photographer than I am ). It is the best-looking razor I own.

I've decided to leave to myself this razor. An interesting edge. Pearl tangs.
This razor is mentioned in "The Razor Anthology".Alex Ts.

Just picked up a Torrey at an antique place. Didn't know what it was but it looked like it was good enough for some TLC. Paid $15, not bad, good to see it is well liked here. They also had a blonde Genco for $20 but I liked the wooden handle on this one.

Thanked: 205/8 Torrey
I picked this one up here on SRP from Smythe, and it is far and away my best shaver. Absolutely fantastic razor.
