I already put this into workshop, but always nice to be a part of the team. Rescaled this with blond horn. Wedge, pins and washers are brass. Washers are only temporary as i will replace them with smaller pieces as soon as i find them. This was also my first razor i honed with single stone only. From dull to sharp with coti. The idea of using single stone was worth testing. Took a little longer than with synthetic hones i usually use.

    Default Just got these?

Anyone have any idea about the Co. history, or dating these. I am going to look for a barber who can hone these for me tommorow. Looking forward to trying them out.

I got a Torrey from a friend and sent it off to JoeD for an overhaul. Can't wait to get it back.

Just got this Torrey put together. Used up recycled parts to get this one up and running, I'll put it to the stones soon and give it a shot. Nice near wedge on this one

I have one just like this that I am trading for a low RPM. buffer motor. I have several Torrey razors & I want to develop a good relation with this guy as he is a picker & scrounger like me
