Beautiful Razor Tony

I've just got a dorko from ebay that I catched for only 10 Euros. I thought for this price and can't do anything wrong and it looked in a good shape. But I've never heard of Dorko and the listing did not say anything about Solingen.

So when it arrived I tried it out and it was really harsh but also an amazingly good razor – I guess the razor and me we just have to get used to each other first a bit, but I felt that this could become my fav shaver even though it is only a 4/8 I guess and it does not sound that nice.

What I like most is this straight and simple appearance. Ok, some decent ornaments on the shoulder and decorations on the blade are fine for me, but with this straight scales they would just be contradictory.

This is a masterpiece of simplicity – love it.

All this styling and the lack of a hint to Solingen made me even think that this is a former Soviet Union razor. Only typing its name google made me find this forum and figure out what I already knew, that it is an amazing razor.

So here come the pictures, sorry, they are just a quick take with my phones cam in artificial lighting but I thionk the nicely resemble the straight appearance of the knife. If they would have needed to show a straight razor in Fight Club I guess they would have taken this Dorko :-)

Dorko 66 came in today. She’s more beautiful than expected.
