I humbly submit my Cosmo Mfg. "Superior" Silver steel 1/2 Hollow. The tang wasn't really stamped, but more like inked, and it is almost gone from me cleaning and rubbing it with cloth. I have no clue as to age or anything about Cosmo's in general. *(Ignore the Spike please!)
It's a very light weight razor, but it took an amazing edge and shave excellent. I didn't restore it, it came to me in this condition. Note the very tiny spots of patina, not the usual age patterns of other razors. They are not pits, only tiny discolored spots, and I have no idea what could have created them.
Ignore the other razor, this was from an SOTD post that I did after shave testing both razors post honing.
Glad to have at least one!!!
Enjoy!
Mike

Thought that I would post my silver steel. No maker name on it just says Silver Steel Warranted. Once honed up turned into a fine shaver.

1822-1830 I believe. I'm not ready to begin the journey that will be called honing on this one. But someday...perhaps.

James Johnson 1818-1853 according to the straight razor guide.
This is pre 1825 I believe. Also, I have never hold in my hands such a asymmetrical blade.
