Thread: Mastro Livi Razor Club

Hi everybody!

I'm not sure if somebody is still reading this thread, it seems almost dead in the last months except for AKmik's post of course (amazing razor mate!)

I've read everything from the very beginning (took me 2 days!) and I'm literally amazed by all those razors the Mastro can forge only with his hands!

I'm a new Mastro Livi fan, and since a couple of months I own also a Grifetto and a Mastro Livi loom strop: I had the privilege to follow the making of the razor in Mastro's workshop in Perugia (I live in Verona, Italy, 400KM away from his workshop), and it has been a great day for me and my girlfriend!

Last saturday I've met again Mastro Livi at Culter Expo 2017 fair in Novegro (Milano, Italy) and he was there with his amazing stand, his barber shop and the barber Piero Migliacci from Rome: I've made a video of the day, and I would like to share it with you guys! I've put also english subtitles, just enable them on the video and you'll be ready to go

Thanks mate! I could add the tag "shot with an iPhone"...

It was the first time I was shooting a video of this kind, hopefully it is good enough also for foreign watchers

And yes, also the barber Piero, despite his 65 years of experience, was scared and worried in using this razor!!!

WOW!!! I have to get me one of those i phones. That was very professional.

I'm back again in this old thread to post a new video: this time is to announce that Mastro Livi have built a Guest House right on the side of his workshop, so all his customers will be hosted here if they want to witness in person the making of their new razor!

More news will be coming soon, also regarding the website that is under maintenance due to a big update and will be back online really soon (a matter of days)

PS: as usual there are english subtitles in the video, just remember to enable them!

Wait, you were there when the razor was made? You seem to spend lots of time sitting in the workshop.
Does someone send you those vids to post here? It is one thing to post your own stuff and quite another to pump someones business for them.

That is my observation, seems like vendor advertising, so not proper or in the wrong section too. So what do we do. Tc

This is actually my razor, I was there last friday and in the same day I shot the video of the guest house too (try send an email to the mail you see in the final credits if you don't believe me)

The first video I was not in his workshop but it was at Culter Expo fair in Novegro, so actually I've been in Mastro's workshop only one day... fair enought I guess lol

Anyway, just let me know if I should post my videos in another section: I was assuming the Mastro Livi Razor Club was the right place since all the previous posts were of Mastro Livi razors owners.

Well it's nice to hear he is ok. Just disappearing with no placeholder explanation on his site made it look like something unfortunate happened, especially with his google page disappearing as well.
