Barbers used to double as doctors and surgeons. Somewhere there is a photo of a barber's price listing that includes bleeding and/or leeching (I don't quite remember).

Being a later (I think) wedgeless horn scaled chopper I'm assuming this is at the end of the Greaves line. Intriging razor with a Palm tree and the shield saying "Palmetto Razor" I'm happy

Eyre took over Greaves, but I'm not sure what the difference is between the ones thay say "Late Greaves" and the ones that don't... maybe leftover Greaves blanks?

Personally I think this would really nail down a "Date of Manufacture" one of those useless bits of knowledge I tend to run after I forsee many hours going over Greaves and Eyre razors
