My 6/8 Hart with a square nose, satin finish, and rosewood handles has given a smooth shave since day one.

I'm also looking at the 7/8 square. Haven't made up my mind whether I want it polished or satin finish, or what type of scales. However, since it appears to be extremely easy to change out the scales, I may just buy another set of scales along with my razor. How is it shaving, for you?

Re: Hart Hit Men
The shaves are amazing. The size was intimidating at first and i was afraid of the square point. I was used to a dovo bq 5/8, and i only been using a straight for 4 months. But i liked it right away. I prefer the heavier weight of the hart and did not slashed my face. I will keep the dovo only as a spare. I shave almost daily with the hart and no need to touch ups with a de or anything.

Thanked: 247Hart Hit Men
I hear you. The Hart square is a really easy razor to use. I have a round also. I have a hard time with conflict over the Hart Round toe...
It shaves like a dream, the round toe cuts the sharpened length down a bit and the result is a nimble blade that is VERY forgiving and gets into the depressions in my neck like only a smiling blade can (or a stubby). Really it is one of my top performing blades....but I do not care for the looks of the round toe, and therefore rarely use it.
How ridiculous is that?

I'm a couple months late to joining as I got this one last year. 7/8 square in cocobolo.
