    Yes, the name is not Juan Vollmer, like on the other Palmeras. It's a very nice shaver, comparable to my Filarmonicas or Henckels Fridour. I wish I could find more information on it, but haven't been able to or to find much information on Palmera in general. I know I never see them on ebay (gives me Palmer on searching every time) or on BST.

    A pre-1950 Filarmonica Doble Temple in sturdy bakelite vice plastic scales.
    Note Monserrat's initials centered in the gold in lieu of the lyre.
    The back of the shank lacks a country stamp.

    You will find with the early Filarmonica's they will have the Jose Monserrat Pou lettering written curved and not straight on the tang and no marks on the opposite side of the tang as your Doble Temple as, my Filarmonica Especial as no mark on the opposite side of the tang and also curved lettering of the maker, I have heard say they may have been made and ground in Germany but I'm unsure how much truth is in this.
