I agree with Dave. This stuff is history. It should be preserved.
As abhorrent as it seems, it is fact.
Museums are full of the sort. All around they are tearing down and moving monuments to the actual past. I suppose that is progress.
I am reminded of old Pharaohs erasing their predecessors from images to words.
Why not have a piece of factual history?
It happened. We learn from our past. Will never go away.Last edited by sharptonn; 05-16-2017 at 03:43 AM.

I'm not a bidder but I would bet that this would get more bids if it were a private auction.

As per the classifieds rules this auction will end on the 17th at 11:59pm(pacific). If there is another bid made before that time the auction will be extended for 24 hours "overtime". The auction will end 24 hours after the last bid.

As a WW2 history buff, I'm not in the least surprised that these were made. Part of the propaganda to the German people was treating Hitler as a deity, including songs sung in school every day by young German Children.
So very sad. In his last days, he turned on the German people and ordered their destruction via a scorched earth policy in Germany, including all food, all bridges, etc... Fortunately, those orders weren't followed.
That last paragraph is not meant to infer that only the German people mattered. There is a very long list of those who suffered because of him. The Holocaust gets most of the press, though what he ordered to be done to those on the Eastern Front is no better.Last edited by Pete123; 05-17-2017 at 07:39 PM.

My late barber friend from north Jersey collected straight razors back in the '80s. He had a white celluloid razor with a small portrait (photograph) of Mussolini in a little oval metal piece on the mark side scale. Had some sort of plastic cover over the picture. I don't recall whether there was anything engraved on the blade, or what the tang stamp was. Probably a German razor, but I don't recall.
Found it through my friend Google
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
