    Default Shavve Ready Barbers Delight

Nice Barbers Delight no frills straight razor.

I cant recall who it was that manufactured these, I'm sure one of you gents will know.
While they were not a big fancy name, they are fine blades, and I have had a few of them over the years that I always enjoyed shaving with. Less expensive then, equals less expensive now 6/8 blade with a cheek cutting square point. a few spots. Celluloid semi translucent scales, closes clean, but close to one side.
Just a straight forward straight, no frills, no big price tag.

    $45 shipped

It is freshly honed. USUALLY I say "Shave Ready" only when I have personally shaved with it. But right now I am not shaving, so I have not put it to my own face and tested it. But money back if you are not happy with it.

    Go for it Steve.
I tested a Magpie edge recently. I had no complaints about the edge at all.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

    Hi Magpie,

I tried to PM you but there seems to be a problem.

I would like to buy your Barbers Delight.

    Do accept PayPal?

I have always thought they were Robeson’s, too many similarities, blade design, grind, hammered tangs, scales design/ materials, and collarless pinning.

Like Robeson’s are great shavers. $45 for that one is a steal.

There are a few threads on the subject, here is one. (Robeson & Barbers Delight are they the same?)

The tang on this one is not hammered, but there have been plenty of Robersons that had polished tangs as well.
