Thanked: 31 year later and my collection is coming along!!
So I began collecting razors right after I had received my great grandfathers razor. i was amazed by how much things have changed over the years, and thought since I am a Barber who uses razors everyday that it would be cool to start collecting! I did some research and found Straightrazorplace.com, became a member, got a bunch of great info from all of the users of the site, and even sent my great grandfathers razor to have it honed by Lynn! Who btw did an amazing job! The razor worked wonderfull for my first straight shave! Now after a year I am hooked! i buy razors at yard sales, flea markets, garage sales, trade shows, and antique sales. I try to be limited to what I buy, but I splurge every now and then... So I finally found this antique style display cabinet and thought it would be the perfect display case for my collection! The Schick hot lather machine is kinda random but I thought Id throw it in, seeing as how I only paid $1 for it at a yard sale!! Also at the top of my display case is a shave station that includes, a mirror, and some honing stones. those were my great grandfathers as well.
