    Sounds great!
Any chance all you lucky Ralf Aust owners could post pics of the different types of point?
I couldn't find much on the website and my German is courtesy of Google :-)

Does anyone know of a Ralf Aust supplier in the UK or the EU? Or even a US supplier that does affordable International shipping? (SRD is no use to me because of its very high shipping charges).

You can order it straight from Aust. Www.rasiermesser-manufaktur.de
Shippingcosts will not be very high I think.

Ah, I didn't realise there was an order page there, but Google translating the site seems to make it understandable enough - thanks.

Hmm - I selected a sample razor and hit the Order link, expecting to be taken to a page showing postage, payment details, etc (I don't want to actually buy one today), and it just said "Thank you for your order, it will be processed immediately".

Unfortunately, ordering direct from the website isn't so straight forward. You will be sent a pro-forma invoice with banking details, when you make a bank transfer for the stated amount, your order is processed. Not as easy as paying by credit card or paypal, I'm afraid.

I was looking to buy the 7/8 Spanish point and would have placed the order immediately, had it been easier. As it is, I haven't taken it any further yet.

Ah, thanks, I'm not going through all that.

And my bank would charge me a minimum £10 for making a transfer to another EU country - I can't see them making many sales outside Germany that way!

That would make life a lot easier, I will email them and ask. My German is non-existent, but I'm sure they won't have an issue with English.

    Regards

Well try it. I've read on other forums that he doesn't speak English. But he must have google translate I guess. Good luck!

I've sent an email, if I have no response I may take you up on your kind offer to translate.

    Thanks
