Hey Hairy, this thread was from 11 years ago, but some of the guys who frequented this site a decade ago were highly knowledgeable. For instance, Neil Miller, who is not longer with us, was one of the most highly respected stropmakers in the UK, and he knew a great deal of the history of razor makers and I am sure he had an awesome library of resource material....
